Private Tuition
Please note that unless otherwise stated all one-day or half-day courses are carried out at a date of mutual convenience between The British Protocol Academy and the client.
Once a date and venue has been arranged, and payment has been received, clients will receive an email with final confirmation and arrangements for the day. The tuition will not go ahead until full payment has been received.
Payment Terms
Deposits are non-refundable.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the course training date, with the balance due 14 days before the course commencement date.
Cancellations
More than 14 days before the course commencement date = 35%
14 days to 7 days = 50%
Less than 7 days = 100%
Group Courses
Payment Terms
For all group courses provided by The British Protocol Academy in the UK, full payment is required to secure your place.
Once payment has been received, clients will receive an email with final confirmation and arrangements for the courses. No places can be held without full payment.
Payment is required via bank transfer. Details will be provided on booking. All bank transfer fees are to be settled by the client.
Cancellations & Postponements
Postponements are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation fees: within two calendar months in advance: 50%, up to 2 weeks in advance: 75%, within 8 calendar days prior: 100%.
The course will be postponed by The British Protocol Academy should the client fail to complete and successfully submit the required registration form. No money will be returned but the course will be moved to a new date of mutual convenience; any additional venue or travel costs will be passed on directly to the client.
Any deposit or pre-payment made by The British Protocol Academy on behalf of a client to a chosen venue/supplier is subject to the venue/supplier’s terms and conditions and may not be refundable. If the terms and conditions of the venue/supplier necessitate a non-refundable deposit then the client will accept that their own deposit made to The British Protocol Academy may not be refundable.
Dress Codes
Dress code is smart. The student accepts that failure to comply with the dress code could possibly result in training not taking place. No refund will be offered.
Named Tutors
Whilst we will do our utmost to allocate named tutors for private tuition, this cannot always be guaranteed due to the international nature of our work and retained clients. All our tutors are experts in their field, we are only etiquette school in UK with diverse tutors and most respected individual.
Damages
Any costs incurred through damage or breakage to any venues, properties, belongings or equipment owned or sourced by The British Protocol Academy or affiliated companies will be covered by the responsible party.
Audio/Video Recording
Video or audio recording of any class, seminar or workshop is prohibited unless otherwise agreed. If permission has been granted, then it is understood that the footage/audio is used solely for personal use and will not be used for commercial gain or appear on any media or social media.
Student Course Notes
The reproduction or distribution of any notes or course materials is strictly prohibited. The downloading and printing of notes is for the sole use of the paying student only.
Late Arrivals
We ask all students to arrive for the time stipulated on the course welcome information, unless agreed otherwise. The tutor will leave and no refund will be offered for students who fail to show after 40 minutes without telephoning, texting or emailing to inform her of their lateness.
The British Protocol Academy may film or photograph a tutorial for internal or external marketing purposes. Students or clients who do not wish to be captured must notify in writing no less than five working days before the course commencement date.
Unforeseen Circumstance- Covid-19
The British Protocol Academy reserves the right to postpone any training due to industrial action, ill health or any other unforeseen occurrence. The British Protocol Academy will make every possible effort to inform the client in time
